Faster and more secure data exchange
The telematics infrastructure enables encrypted and fast data exchange between pharmacies, doctors and other healthcare providers, separate from the public internet.
Telematics infrastructure solutions enable pharmacies to exchange medical data securely and quickly. They digitise important processes such as prescription management, medication plans and communication with doctors.
We would be happy to advise you on networked pharmacies in the healthcare network.
The telematics infrastructure enables encrypted and fast data exchange between pharmacies, doctors and other healthcare providers, separate from the public internet.
Digital applications such as e-prescriptions and electronic medication plans speed up administrative processes and reduce error-prone manual steps.
Fewer administrative tasks mean that pharmacists have more time for pharmaceutical advice and patient care.

Communication in Medicine (KIM)
The gematik-certified communication standard "Communication in Healthcare" (KIM) enables barrier-free, authenticated and secure communication between all service providers in Germany connected to the telematics infrastructure (TI). This e-mail service allows all TI participants to exchange medical information and documents in a closed system.
More time for what matters most: your customers! In order to provide their patients with the best possible care, doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals need a way to communicate securely with each other electronically and exchange treatment-related data in a protected manner. If, for example, a pharmacist needs to inform a doctor about the dispensing of a preparation, this can now be done via KIM. This allows digital documents and messages to be exchanged quickly and reliably – with or without attachments – via a secure e-mail procedure. The signature is provided by your eHBA, and secure transmission takes place exclusively to authenticated participants within the TI.
Telekom provides KIM mailboxes via the KIM specialist service. Each KIM mailbox includes a KIM email address.
Further advantages
Specialist module: Emergency Data Management (NFDM)
Medication Therapy Safety/Electronic Medication Plan (AMTS/eMP)
The specialist application NFDM refers to the handling of patient-specific information that can be stored on the insured person's electronic health card (eGK). AMTS/eMP is a specialist application for recording patient-specific data on drug therapy safety, information on the patient's medication and medication-related data on the insured person's eGK.The operating software on the customer's connector already contains the specialist modules. This requires that the latest available software package has been installed by the customer. However, a licence is required to use the NFDM and AMTS/eMP specialist modules. The specialist modules are activated by importing a connector-specific and non-transferable licence file.
To use the NFDM and AMTS/eMP specialist modules, additional software components are required that can access the connector functions provided. This software must be purchased separately by the customer, e.g. from the manufacturer of their pharmacy management system, and is not included in the services provided by Telekom.
The electronic patient record is the central element of networked healthcare/telematics infrastructure. In future, people with statutory health insurance will be able to manage their health-related documents securely for life using an electronic patient record (ePA) on a voluntary basis. The information contained therein is available to patients themselves as well as their treating doctors, dentists and psychotherapists – provided that the insured person has previously authorised the respective practice or pharmacy to do so. The specialist application electronic patient record can be used with the ePA specialist module of the connector.

This requires that the latest available software package has been installed by the customer. However, a licence is required to use the ePA specialist module.
