Mobile phone tariffs and options

With all of our Business Mobile tariffs, you have the option of choosing a mobile phone from a well-known manufacturer such as Apple or Samsung . You can choose between tariffs with a smartphone or with a top-of-the-range smartphone. The difference here lies in the one-off or monthly costs. If, for example, you opt for a tariff with a top-of-the-range smartphone, the one-off payment for your chosen smartphone will be lower, but the monthly price will be higher.

A Data tariff is a tariff for a pure data connection with a mobile Internet flat rate, which enables fast Internet surfing on the go. Unlike a fixed broadband connection in the office, you use a high-speed data connection via the mobile network and without Wi-Fi.
As a provider, we offer you a similar Internet surfing experience to your broadband connection in the office with new and fast transmission standards such as 5G – it is a genuine replacement for DSL. 

5G data tariffs are worthwhile for you if you are often on the move with your tablet or laptop and want to connect to the Internet while on the go. Of course, you can also surf the Internet on the move with your other devices via a personal hotspot created on your smartphone, but this uses up the data volume of your mobile phone tariff and always takes a little time to establish a connection.

Our 5G data tariffs, which are offered with a mobile Internet flat rate for tablets and laptops, differ from smartphone tariffs in that they are designed for Internet use rather than for making calls. 

For your smartphone, you should choose a classic mobile phone tariff that also allows you to make calls. If you want to use the internet on your mobile devices to surf and work, we recommend a 5G data tariff.

Both LTE (4G) and its successor 5G are mobile communications standards in the telecommunications network that refer to bandwidths and express how fast surfing speeds are. The higher the maximum available transmission speed, the higher the upload and download speeds of the data and the more stable the connection.

In all Business Mobile tariffs , you can automatically surf the web with your 5G-enabled device on Germany's largest 5G network at no extra charge. This enables fast data transfer with the lowest response times.

You can easily extend your Telekom mobile phone tariff and data tariff in the Telekom Business Service Portal for mobile phone business customers.

Here you will be shown the earliest possible date on which you can switch. You can then choose whether you want to keep your current tariff or switch to a different tariff level. As part of the renewal process, you can also choose a new device from our range.
