Take over or transfer contract (change of contractual partner), new commercial register number, new association register number and change of contractual partner details.
Would you like to transfer or take over a mobile phone contract? No problem! The term and conditions remain unchanged. We charge a one-time fee (per contract) for the transfer. The previous contract holder must fill out the transfer form together with the new contract holder.
During the contract partner transfer, you have the following options:
Important: Switching from private to business or vice versa is only possible after the downgrade lock period has expired. Our service team will be happy to help you if you do not know the exact date.

In order to take over or transfer a leased telephone system and/or maintenance contract, the previous contract holder and the future contract holder must jointly complete our form. You can then send it to us via our contact form so that we can process it further.

Transferring a mobile phone number
Switching at the end of your contract
: Cancel your contract with your current provider. Then
arrange to port your number to Telekom.
Early switch
: Before placing your order, please submit an opt-in (number porting authorisation) to your current provider.
Your existing contract will continue until its end date. This may result in temporary costs for two contracts.
Here’s how to place an order:
Important: You can transfer your phone number no earlier than 123 days before and no later than 90 days after the end of your contract.
Transfer a landline number
Please do not cancel your contract yourself. If you have already cancelled your line with your previous provider, please contact us as soon as possible. Your phone number may be unavailable for a while. We will do everything we can to ensure that this does not happen.
