Switch to Telekom

Everything you need to know about switching to Telekom and what you need to bear in mind in order to keep your number.

Bring your mobile phone number

Please note the following information regarding switching to Telekom with your mobile phone number:

Switch at the end of the contract: 

  • Cancel your contract with your previous provider before transferring your number to Telekom.

Change before the end of the contract:

  • Please submit a porting declaration of intent (opt-in) to your current provider before requesting number porting to Telekom. Please note that in this case you will have two parallel contracts with corresponding double costs and should terminate the current contract with your previous provider in good time.

How to order your new contract directly online:

  • Select your desired tariff with or without a mobile phone on our product page.
  • The system will then guide you step by step through the order process. During the online order process, you will also be asked to enter the telephone number you wish to keep.
  • Important note: The porting can take place at the earliest 123 calendar days before the end of the contract and at the latest 90 calendar days after the end of the contract.

Bring your landline number with you

Please do not terminate your contract yourself in advance. If you have already terminated your connection with your previous provider, please contact us as soon as possible. Your phone number may be unavailable for some time. We will do everything we can to prevent this from happening.

How to order your new contract directly online:

  • First, check our product page to see how much bandwidth is available at your location, tick the box next to "I am switching from another provider" and then select the tariff you want.
  • Please provide us with information about your previous provider, a preferred date, and the telephone number you would like to keep after reviewing your order summary.
  • Fill out the provider change request form, sign it, and send it back to us. The form will be displayed at the end of the online order process. We will take care of the rest as soon as we receive the request.
