Never heard of Operator Connect? No problem: Operator Connect is a Microsoft programme that allows you to integrate your voice connection into the Microsoft Teams environment. As a participant in the Microsoft Operator Connect programme, Telekom can use this service to transfer PSTN calls to Teams. The cloud solution is designed for convenience and speed of installation and management – perfect for small and medium-sized businesses that don't want to spend a lot of time and IT resources managing their telephone system. The feature makes managing telephony via Microsoft Teams even more intuitive, time-saving and easier. And best of all, Operator Connect is already included in the Microsoft Teams Telephony package.

Everything in one place: with Operator Connect and the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre

With Operator Connect, you can import your phone numbers directly into Microsoft Teams and quickly and conveniently assign them to users in the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre. In addition, Operator Connect allows you to order and manage telephony services directly from the operator (i.e. Telekom) – promptly and entirely online. New phone numbers must also be ordered from Telekom, with the exception of Microsoft Calling Plans, which can be managed directly from Teams. You simply assign phone numbers from your quota to the users in your organisation who need them and remove them again when they are no longer needed.
