Post office boxes for rent

One or more X.400 mailboxes provided in the Telekom data centre. You can access them directly via the FileWork client software. You can choose between the standard mailbox with all basic functions, including the sending of EDIFACT data, and the EDI mailbox with additional functions.

In-house systems

Do you already operate your own mail server (e.g. Microsoft Exchange)? MailGate X.400 enables you to exchange standardised messages via the global X.400 network, regardless of the application. Unlike MailBox X.400, incoming emails are actively delivered to you.

  • Cross-application communication between a wide variety of messaging systems via the global X.400 network
  • Access networks: MPLS, Internet (IPSec VPN)
  • Transitions to other communication services: Fax gateway (outbound), Internet gateway (SMTP)

With BusinessMail X.400, you can send your data securely not only within the standard, but also to other recipients.

BusinessMail X.400 also works with other email systems via gateways. This allows you to communicate with customers and partners who use AS2, for example. There is no need to install an expensive proprietary solution. BusinessMail X.400 also exchanges mail with Internet mail providers that use standards such as SMTP, POP3 or IMAP 4 via an SMTP gateway.
