Which partners and networks are already integrated into T Secure Fabric?

The initial setup includes Equinix, Megaport and AWS. Further partners, networks and services can be added as required. The open ecosystem connects Telekom infrastructures with selected partner networks and technologies, thereby providing additional reach, flexibility and alternative connection routes.

Why are selected partner infrastructures integrated?

No single provider can serve every location, every data centre and every cloud equally well worldwide. The open ecosystem extends the reach and integration capabilities of T-Secure Fabric. At the same time, the diversity of different infrastructures reduces dependence on individual providers and enhances resilience.

Doesn’t involving several partners increase the complexity?

The diversity lies in the underlying infrastructure – which is made manageable for the customer. T-Secure Fabric integrates different networks, providers and technologies into a single architecture. Deutsche Telekom takes charge of the end-to-end control and management of the solution provided across the T-Secure Fabric ecosystem. This results in a unified solution for the customer.

How are new partners, services and technologies integrated?

T Secure Fabric is based on modern development and integration principles. For API-based integration, the platform adheres to TM Forum standards in order to connect partners and services in as standardised and open a manner as possible. This allows the ecosystem to be expanded step by step in line with requirements.

Can T Secure Fabric integrate existing network infrastructures?

Yes. Existing MPLS, SD-WAN, internet and cloud environments can be integrated and new services added gradually. A complete migration in a single step is not required. Organisations can continue to develop their existing infrastructure and expand T Secure Fabric in line with their needs.

How does T Secure Fabric ensure availability and reliability?

T Secure Fabric is developed and operated from the outset in accordance with the principles of the Telekom Zero Outage Programme. The integration of different networks and providers also enables alternative connection routes and reduces dependencies. Specific availability and reliability depend on the service in question and the SLA agreed with the customer.

What service levels and SLAs does T Secure Fabric offer?

Service levels are defined on a product-by-product basis and may vary depending on the service used. Deutsche Telekom bears overall responsibility for operations, service management and SLA management vis-à-vis the customer. This ensures that the customer receives a centrally managed solution, even within an open partner ecosystem.
