The first bill after a tariff change often contains special features. Bills are generally issued in advance. However, if you change your tariff in the middle of the month, it will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
An explanation using an example will help here:
Initial situation:
You received your bill for May at the beginning of May. On 18 May, you switched to a different tariff.
The bill you receive in June will therefore not only include the basic price for the month of June, but also a new pro rata calculation for the month of May with the pro rata invoice amount and the pro rata credit note.
This means:
- For the period from 18 May to 30 May, you will receive a pro-rata credit for the old tariff in your June invoice.
- For the period from 18 May to 30 May, a pro-rata invoice amount for the new tariff will be charged in the June invoice.
- The basic price of the new tariff will be charged in your June bill.
You may find additional charges on your June bill. Each tariff includes different services. Chargeable connections are always billed in the following month, as they only take place then. In our example, you will therefore see chargeable connections for the month of May on the bill you receive in June.
