Fast and innovative – built on DevOps and MLOps principles
Safe operation – in accordance with our high corporate standards
Our Managed Container Stack (MCS) enables containerised applications and middleware to run on any private or public cloud platform. The managed Kubernetes platform for container orchestration is based on Red Hat OpenShift. With support available 365 days a year and a defined service level agreement, businesses get maximum reliability.
Unlike the Kubernetes services offered by hyperscalers, the Managed Container Stack offers a range of integrated services that are typically required for use in production environments. Based on open-source software, services for logging, monitoring, backup & restore, and container registries with vulnerability scanning are ready for immediate use. Customers have the flexibility to use their own tool stack or utilise the provided services for their applications.
Our MCS is based on security-tested components and cloud architectures that have been tested in accordance with strict T-Systems standards. The platform is preconfigured and can be put into productive use immediately. We can draw on the expertise and best practices gained from operating hundreds of customer projects since 2015. To meet the highest security requirements, we offer annual audits of our service in accordance with BSI:C5 and SOC2®.
Developers value flexibility: companies can choose between a managed service and a self-service model. The self-service model allows clusters to be created and integrated as desired, while T-Systems can manage production environments to ensure SLA and support. Your company's clusters can be distributed across private and public cloud infrastructures. MCS can be deployed on almost any infrastructure – in accordance with T-Systems security standards and with uniform user management.
Take advantage of our managed container stack with RedHat OpenShift AI to quickly develop, train, test and deploy your artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning applications.
With OpenShift AI, models can be developed, tested, deployed and their performance centrally monitored in various cloud environments on Red Hat OpenShift. It includes tools for AI/ML modelling and visualisation, such as JupyterLab UI with ready-made notebook images and common Python libraries; TensorFlow; PyTorch and CUDA. KServe or OpenShift add-ons can also be used to deploy and monitor models. With the help of Kubeflow Pipelines, processes such as data preparation, development models and deployment models can be linked. The platform is based on the open source Open Data Hub project.
OpenShift AI enables organisations to efficiently deploy an integrated set of popular open source and third-party tools for AI/ML modelling. The platform provides an alternative to the prescriptive and predefined AI/ML suites available from individual cloud providers. Users receive a collaborative open source toolset and a platform for developing experimental models without having to worry about infrastructure or vendor lock-in through public cloud-specific tools. They can then extend this base platform with models and/or tools from T-Systems and partners to gain additional functionality.

Containers are an important component in the successful implementation of a cloud-native strategy. However, due to a lack of skills and expertise, many IT teams find it difficult to provide container management – and they fear additional management effort, not to mention the additional long-term costs for licences. Containers also pose particular challenges in terms of security. Do you have the necessary skills to operate them securely?
With T-Systems’ Managed Cloud Container Services (MCCS) for AWS, you can rely on a service package that unlocks the full potential of containers for your business. Our MCCS package includes: Managed Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS), Red Hat OpenShift (ROSA) and – for those already working with containers/Kubernetes – a Well-Architected Review for Amazon EKS. These services enable cost-effective use of containers and give businesses access to certified container expertise in AWS. Another advantage: MCCS are fully integrated with AWS services.
The Kubernetes software is the benchmark for container orchestration. With MCCS, companies can use Kubernetes as part of AWS ROSA. Alternatively, the AWS cloud offers a platform-native variant with Amazon EKS. Both services are deployed quickly, as needed and with full scalability. No licences need to be purchased. Managed EKS also includes additional AWS services to automate and ensure efficient and secure container usage: Key Management Service, IAM (Identity and Access Management), Cloud Watch, Open Search and Prometheus.
Are you using containers and Kubernetes in the AWS cloud but unsure whether you are applying the latest best practices and security for Amazon EKS? Review your container deployment and seek advice from an AWS Premier Partner. Our certified experts will perform a Well-Architected Review for EKS and evaluate your container workloads in a structured manner to identify optimisation potential for your benefit.
