Zoom X for DFN authorised users

There are three price categories for DFN users

1a) Zoom X Workplace Business DFN: Option for individual departments that wish to provide the software to employees.

1b) Zoom X Education: Option for individual departments that only want to provide the software to teachers and staff. This option is not intended for site-wide deployment.

2) Zoom X Education Site Licence: Our expanded offering, which provides an Education Named Host Licence to all academic and administrative staff as well as active students.

3) Zoom X Education Bundle Site Licence: as per No. 2, but this option also includes additional products at no extra cost.

The framework agreement between Telekom Deutschland GmbH and the DFN Association was signed by both parties in February 2026. The term of the agreement is set at two years in accordance with Section 11, Sentence 1 of the framework agreement. The DFN Association has been granted an option to extend the framework agreement twice, for one year at a time. After the DFN Association exercised its option to extend the term of the framework agreement, the Zoom X product can now be ordered until 28 February 2030.

Zoom X add-ons for the Zoom X Education product

Zoom X Rooms - Zoom X Rooms is a software-based solution for video conference rooms of all sizes.

Zoom X - Zoom X CRC works with conference room systems and corporate calendars to make video conferencing quick, easy and consistent. By supporting virtually all H.323 and SIP-based systems from leading manufacturers such as Cisco and Polycom, Zoom X CRC simplifies the conference room.

Zoom X Webinars - Zoom X Webinars allows up to 100 interactive video participants. Up to 10,000 participants can follow the webinar (view only).

Large Meetings - With Zoom X Large Meetings, the number of participants can be increased. With Large Meetings 500, the maximum number of participants is 500, and with Large Meetings 1,000, the maximum number of participants is 1,000.

Cloud Recording - Cloud Recording allows customers to store, stream, and download video recordings in MP4 or M4A file formats in the Zoom Cloud.
