Zoom X combines intuitive video conferencing services from Zoom with Deutsche Telekom's outstanding telephone services. Hosted in secure data centres in Germany, the offering is aimed at businesses of all sizes, educational institutions and the public sector, and is available exclusively from Deutsche Telekom.

Zoom X Workplace combines chat, audio, video and meeting functions with other collaboration tools in one intuitive software package. The cloud-based online platform enables companies to communicate easily with their employees or customers and collaborate seamlessly.
Zoom X Workplace can be used for both smaller applications and very large online events:
- Simple video conferences with prospective customers and clients enable quick and personal clarification of enquiries and concerns without the need for travel or preparation. This meets the frequently expressed expectations of customers for modern communication with service providers and institutions.
- Consultations with technical or sales representatives can be carried out more easily through the use of video, and solutions can be devised directly together on a whiteboard or in conversation. Employees appreciate a digital working environment and thus work more effectively.

- If you anticipate needing more than 499 licences, or additional add-ons such as webinars or large meetings, please contact our conference experts directly using enquiry contact form or by email.
It is possible that your booking will be rejected by Zoom because the email domain you are using (@yourcompany.com) is already registered with Zoom and blocked for other partner offers. In this case, it will not be possible to book Zoom X Workplace with email addresses from this domain (e.g. ihrname@ihrefirma.de).
To test Zoom X Workplace, you can make the booking using a different email address (one that does not run on your company domain).
Please note that it will not be possible to merge this new Zoom X Workplace account with your company's existing Zoom account at a later date.
When registering on the marketplace or ordering Zoom X Workplace, please do not use an email address that already has a Zoom account, as your booking will otherwise be rejected by Zoom. If you have already registered directly with Zoom in the past, you have the following options:
- Please log in to your Zoom account and delete it. If you wish to keep your Zoom account, please change the email address used for Zoom in the user management section. Then continue with the booking in the Telekom Cloud Marketplace. Go directly to the Zoom login. Instructions for switching from Zoom to Zoom X can be found here.
- Alternatively, please change the email address used in your Telekom Cloud Marketplace profile. Please note: This change applies to your entire account, not just to your Zoom X Workplace order. Then restart the booking process.

You may have received an email informing you that your Zoom X Workplace booking on the Telekom Cloud Marketplace has failed. Bookings with email addresses that already have a Zoom account will be rejected by Zoom.
In this case, you can still book Zoom X Workplace as follows:
- Please log in to your Zoom account and delete it. You can then re-enter your booking in the Telekom Cloud Marketplace.
- Alternatively, please change the email address used for registration in your Telekom Cloud Marketplace profile. Please note: This change applies to your entire account, not just to the Zoom X Workplace order. Then restart the booking process.
Yes, you can try Zoom X Workplace free of charge and without obligation.

Video conferences with up to 300 participants, no time limit
Zoom's Basic licence is limited to 40 minutes for video conferences.
With Zoom X Workplace, you can hold an unlimited number of group meetings with up to 300 people for as long as you need.
Record in the cloud
With a Basic licence, you can only record meetings on your local device.
With Zoom X Workplace, you can save recorded video meetings, training sessions, or other events directly to the cloud and make them available to your employees. This saves you time and storage space on your local device.
Each Zoom X Workplace licence includes 5 GB of storage space for cloud recordings in MP4/M4A format at no additional cost.
Streaming on social media
With Zoom X Workplace Pro, you can also broadcast a livestream directly to Facebook and YouTube. You also have access to customised livestreaming services to expand your audience reach.
Scaling intelligently
Zoom X Workplace Pro is more suitable for small teams (up to 9 licences). For larger teams, use Zoom X Workplace Business and expand according to your needs. Zoom X Workplace Business is available from 10 licences.
Central admin portal
The admin portal allows administrators to manage all users and settings via a central portal. The Business Edition offers a comprehensive administrator dashboard that makes it easy to view information ranging from overall usage to live meeting data. It also offers single sign-on (SSO) integration, allowing you to log in to Zoom X Business with a variety of SSO providers such as Okta or Centrify without having to enter your own login details.
Zoom X Workplace business accounts also feature managed domains. Thanks to the efficient organisation of applications, your business account will save you a lot of time in licence management.
Custom branding for your online meetings
With the Business Edition, you have the option of creating your own vanity URL. You can include your company name in this URL, for example (yourcompany.zoom.us).
In addition, you can create your own email template with your company design for both internal and external communication to send meeting invitations to participants using Zoom X.
Automatic speech-to-text transcriptions
One highlight of Zoom X Workplace Business is automatic speech-to-text transcription for cloud recordings in English. This gives you a transcript straight away, without anyone having to take notes.
The automatically generated transcript saves you a lot of time, as you can search for specific terms in the text immediately after the meeting. This allows you to find conversation content quickly and efficiently without having to watch the video.
The domain zoom-x.de is an alias or communicative domain that ultimately redirects to a target URL. In this case, to eu02web.zoom.us. However, redirection to the URL eu02web.zoom.us does not mean that your meeting data is located in the USA. With Zoom X, your meeting data remains in Germany.
Similar example: If you enter the communicative URL www.telekom.de/zoom-x in your web browser, it will be redirected to the target URL https://geschaeftskunden.telekom.de/business/loesungen/digitalisierung/zusammenarbeit-produktivitaet/zoom-x.

Yes, you can use a Bluetooth headset with Zoom X Workplace. The only requirement is that your Bluetooth device is compatible with your computer or mobile device.
A Zoom X Workplace account is not usually required for participants to join your meetings. When you invite someone to a meeting, they can join directly without registering.
However, if you, as the host, have restricted participation in meetings to participants with authentication profiles, then participants will need a Zoom X Workplace account to join. Here you will find instructions on how to participate in Zoom X Workplace meetings.
You do not need a webcam to participate in a meeting or webinar, but you will not be able to broadcast video of yourself.
If you have a microphone and speakers connected to your PC, you can hear and talk to the other participants during the meeting.
You can also share your screen without a webcam and view the webcam videos of the other participants.
During your meeting, click on 'Share Screen' and select the screen you want to make visible to others.

All hosts of Zoom X Workplace Meetings have the option to record and save meetings locally on their computer, unless the account owner or administrator has disabled this feature.
Hosts of Zoom X Workplace Meetings can also save the meeting video directly to the cloud.
To start recording, simply click on "Record" during the Zoom X Workplace meeting.

Only pseudonymised data records (pseudonymised email address) are sent to the USA to register for the meeting so that the Zoom X meeting can start.
