You must have valid licences for Microsoft 365 Business, Microsoft 365 Enterprise or Office 365 Enterprise to use Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service. To book via the Telekom Cloud Marketplace, you also need an account for the marketplace.
Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service are currently only available as annual subscriptions. However, since 1 December 2024, more flexible billing options have been available. You can continue to pay for your Microsoft Copilot licences annually in advance or switch to monthly billing. The term of the Copilot subscription remains one year even with monthly billing. Please note that the licence costs are approximately 5 per cent higher with monthly billing. You can switch from annual to monthly billing when you renew your Copilot subscription.
We recommend starting with a limited number of licences (approx. 20 to 50) as a proof of concept (PoC). This allows you to test the functionality and gather feedback before a comprehensive rollout. A PoC allows you to evaluate Microsoft Copilot in a controlled environment, check user acceptance and make any necessary adjustments to work processes. This allows you to optimise the rollout and minimise the risk of complications.
After a successful test phase and positive user reviews, the product can be gradually rolled out to other teams or the entire organisation. A controlled rollout ensures that the product is well integrated and that users can be trained in a targeted manner. Use the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre to assign licences and monitor the rollout. Self-service purchases should be disabled to centrally control licence purchases and avoid unnecessary costs.

There are several ways to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 for your organisation. Firstly, you have the option of booking Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot for Sales or Copilot for Service via self-service. To do so, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in in the Telekom Cloud Marketplace with the account that already contains the Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription for which you want to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 as an add-on.
Step 2: Go to the Copilot for Microsoft 365 product page in the Telekom Cloud Marketplace.
Step 3: Click on the "Order now" button to go to to the order form for Copilot for Microsoft 365..
Step 4: Enter the desired number of licences (1) and complete the order process by clicking "Continue" (2) and following the usual steps.
Step 5: Once the booking has been successfully completed, the licences will be made available to you as usual via the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, where you can assign them to your employees.
