This gives you a comprehensive Internet & telephony package including failure protection, a powerful router and setup service.

Business DSL Premium combines the best of tariffs, hardware and installation in an all-inclusive package:

• DSL tariff with failover protection: With all Business DSL Premium tariffs, you benefit from uninterrupted Internet connections, as the 5G failover protection module automatically kicks in if there is a fault with your landline connection. Thanks to the proactive fault clearance service, faults are automatically reported to the Telekom service and guaranteed to be rectified within 8 hours without you having to take any action. The Business DSL Premium offer includes a 5G failure protection module with a mobile phone card at no additional cost, so you can stay online securely and reliably at all times.
• High-performance business router: The rental of a high-performance business router is included in the Business DSL Premium packages. This gives you useful features, the best performance and security standards, and optimal service (e.g. updates, troubleshooting, replacement of defective devices).
• On-site installation: The package price includes on-site installation of the 5G failover module and the business router. Troubleshooting is also automatic: in the event of a landline fault, our Telekom service is proactively notified and rectifies the fault within 8 hours. You concentrate on your business, we take care of the rest.

Failover protection is an automatic fallback solution that is activated in the event of a fault with your landline connection. In the event of a fault, a 5G failover protection module automatically and seamlessly takes over the online connection via the mobile network, ensuring that your Internet connection remains stable. Your business applications (e.g. EC cash, electronic cash register) continue to run without interruption. As soon as your landline is working again, the connection automatically switches back.

The proactive fault clearance service ensures that faults on your landline connection are automatically detected, proactively reported and rectified without you having to take any action yourself. This means that in the event of a fault, the 5G failure protection module automatically takes over the internet connection and a fault report is sent directly in the background to the Telekom service, which then takes care of the guaranteed fault clearance within 8 hours. Your business applications (e.g. EC cash, electronic cash register) continue to run without interruption. You are not affected by the fault and do not have to worry about anything. You simply continue to work as usual and concentrate on your business.

No, the mobile phone card in the 5G failover protection module is included in the tariff and offers an unlimited tariff, so you will not incur any additional costs.

Both devices should be set up or hung as freely as possible. The 5G drop protection module is ideally attached to the outside of the window or inside near the window so that mobile phone coverage is as optimal as possible.

The Smart 2 digitisation box included in the Premium Package measures approx. 19 x 31 x 4 cm (height/width/depth) without the stand, and the 5G failure protection module measures approx. 21 x 12 x 5 cm (height/width/depth). Both devices are connected with a LAN cable, which is included with the delivery of the 5G failure protection module.

You do not need to install the failure protection yourself. The 5G failure protection module will be installed by a Telekom service technician directly at your premises.

Good to know: The business router included in the Business DSL Premium tariff will also be installed at your premises free of charge.
